How is a vacation home different from a hotel?
Staying in a vacation home/villa has numerous benefits including space - lots of it. Our 3 Bedroom pool home gives your party the room to strech out and relax at their own pace. Whether a day at the parks or on the golf course there is nothing better than to come home and jump in the pool/spa without worrying about how crowded it is - if the hotel pool is even open at all.
Are there any good places to eat?
There are to many to count. Windsor Hills is just minutes away from such restaurants as TGI Friday's, Outback Steakhouse, Kobe's, Red Lobster, and many many more. You will not go hungry.
Where can we buy food for the home?
The resort is located about 1 mile from the Formosa Gardens Plaza where you can find groceries and other items you may need. There are also several 24 hour mini markets located around the resort.
Is there a pharmacy close to the resort?
Walgreens is located at the corner of Rt. 192 and Formosa Gardens Blvd.
In an emergency, where are the local hospitals?
The closest hospital is in Celebration which is 4 miles east on Rt. 192. Follow the signs once you cross I-4.
Is the resort located in a busy area?
Depends on your definition of busy. Windsor Hills is located 1.5 miles from the most popular American destination in the country-Walt Disney World. Rt. 192 can be busy during early morning hours and the evening when the parks let out. In general, your drive to and from the attractions will be trouble free.
Is the kitchen stocked?
Our townhome is fully stocked with all amenities and has everything you need to cook meals right in the home. From dishes to pots and pans, we have it covered. Families traveling together can save money in preparing snacks or meals in the home instead of eating out all the time. The Formosa Gardens shopping plaza is 1 mile away and has a Winn Dixie supermarket.
Are linens and towles included?
Yes all towels and linens are provided in the home.
Who cares for the property?
Although unlikely, we have a local property manager that is available 24/7 to take care of any problems that may arise.
What is your smoking policy?
Our home is "smoke free" and a non smoking property. Most guests prefer a smoke free environment and we would appreciate it if you would not smoke in the house. Thank you.
What is your pet policy?
Sorry- there are no pets allowed.
